So the passed weekend I took my girlfriend Lyndle away for our anniversary weekend, it was to Botlierskop 4 Star Private Nature Reserve.
I really had the time of my life, our first order of business was a boat cruise alone the river where we were taught about some of the scenery and that water lilys actually tell you how deep the water is, and that you can use their stems as straws to drink water because it filters all the bad gunk out!
We caught our first close up glimpse of nature when a young buck appeared on the waters edge eating some of the long fresh grass.
Our second order of business was feeding elephants, we met 3 beautiful elephants, the fathers name was Sam and the Baby elephants name was Tchima (which means suprise) the mothers name slips my mind, but we didnt interact with her much because she gets aggresive when strangers are around her baby.
Feeding them was truly an incredible experience, from how well they listen to you when you tell them to lift their trunks and put food in their mouth, to seeing how strong their trunk is when taking fruit out of your hand!
Our 3rd order of business was meeting and playing with a lion cub named Kiesha, she was very cute and very similar to a domestic cat, just much bigger of course, she was rejected by her mother and as a result the owner of the nature reserve took her in as a pet!
last for the day was a game drive, truly incredible, we got up close and personal with Rhinos, and Giraffes and saw hundred of different buck! we saw lovely birds and monkeys and all forms of dfferent wildlife, and then ended the drive off by having a few sundowner drinks with the elephants.
That evening we went for dinner and tried all different types of food, from crocodile meat to warthog, and Eland Loin and lots of other gamey meat.
We got back to our room and I built up the courage to pop the question! i got a big YES and im proud to say I am now engaged 
The next morning we went horseback riding and after arguing with our somewhat mischevious horses we finally managed to get going, about half way into the ride we went around a bush and came face to face with 2 rhinos! very intimidating but also such an amazing experience!
We are now back in Cape Town and back to normal life….

I think I may be in trouble!
So today, while standing on the balcony at my office having my morning cup of coffee and breathing in the fresh morning air, I couldn’t help but noticed 2 pigeons feeding off a a piece of bread on the sidewalk, the one seemed to be the leader, slightly larger than the other and had his foot firmly on the piece of bread, he would bite down, eat a piece then break a piece off and throw it to the other pigeon, this went on a for a while, i noticed he would throw the piece of bread off the sidewalk into the road, and then the next piece slightly further and so on and so forth, until the pigeon was almost half way into the road, at that exact moment a car came speeding along and flatted the pigeon.
I was shocked, I had just witnessed a murder, the first pigeon delibrately lured the second pigeon into the street to get him killed, I stood in shock and looked at him, and he carried on as if nothing was wrong, no remorse for his action, he didnt even seem moved. A second later he turns around to walk away and he must have seen me standing there, he stopped what he was doing, and just stared at me, he didnt move a muscle, as if he was challenging me, he just stared, for what felt like an eternity. I wondered if he was ever going to fly away, apparentley not, i decided to back down and turned and walked away.
I am worried now, he knows I know, he knows that I saw what he did, im the only witness. it gives me shivers… I think I may be in trouble

The hunger games ws awesome!
I went to see the hunger games last night at one of its first screenings, it was brilliant, the acting was good and there was a good balance of drama, violence and awesomeness!
Now I can’t wait to see the next part!

United slump to 1 – 0 Wigan defeat.
So typical of the Manchester United I know and love. We have a change to keep our 8 point lead at the top of the table into the last 5 games of the season with what should have been a walk in the park at Wigan, instead, we get completely outplayed and slump to a 1 – 0 defeat. City beat West Brom by 4 goals to nil and as a result bring them to within 5 points of us with a superior goal difference. Keep in mind we still have to play City before the end of the season.
It was a good game for Wigan, they enjoyed plenty of possesion and a wonder strike from Shaun Maloney saw them take the lead early in the 2nd half. Manchester United should have been awarded a penalty when a Phil Jones cross blatently struck the arm of Wigan defender Maynor Figueroa. It was a poor showing from United, we managed only 2 or 3 shots on goal in the entire game, and it was evident that Rooney was having a bad game when he was subbed in the 70th minute for Nani. Nani returns after missing 8 games with a ankle injury.
City will now look to close the gap even further when they face Norwich on the 14th of April at 12:45 – Manchester United play Aston Villa on the 15th.
